3.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive personal information about you from:

- Payment & Billing Processors (if you are on a paid plan);
- Analytics & Marketing Partners (limited to pseudonymous identifiers);
- AI Infrastructure Partners (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) that help execute simulation workloads.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide & Maintain the Services — create accounts, run simulations, generate reports, and store dashboards;
- Secure the Platform — prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access using role‑based access controls and audit logging;

- Communicate With You — send transactional emails, product updates, and (with your consent) marketing messages;
- Comply With Legal Obligations — respond to lawful requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
4.1 Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contractual Necessity (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

- Legal Obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))
5. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as described:
- Service Providers & Sub‑processors — cloud hosting (AWS), database (Supabase), model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic), analytics, and email delivery—all bound by confidentiality and data‑processing agreements;
- Enterprise Customers — if you run simulations on behalf of your employer, your outputs may be visible to other authorized users within that organization; raw personal data remains isolated;
- Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, after which you will receive notice;
- Legal & Compliance — to comply with subpoenas or protect rights, property, and safety.
A current list of sub‑processors is available at atlasview.ai/subprocessors (updated regularly).
6. Security
Atlas View operates on a SOC‑2‑aligned architecture. Key safeguards include:
- Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES‑256);
- Dedicated, isolated data projects per customer where feasible;
- Principle of least privilege & role‑based access controls;
- Annual penetration tests and continuous vulnerability scanning;
- Audit logs and real‑time threat detection. Despite our efforts, no internet transmission or storage system is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your credentials confidential.
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Simulation datasets can be deleted at any time via the dashboard or by emailing us. Backup archives are purged on a 35‑day rolling basis.
